Viso-Therm and Spirit Solutions, Inc manufactures of thermal imaging technologies in-conjunction with their sister company Defense Research Associates, Inc. has jointly developed a security system which can operate in all weather conditions. Infrared Security and Identification System termed K2.
Unlike other technologies that only operate in good weather conditions the K2 system combines the overall effectiveness of thermal imaging with a redundant fail safe far infrared laser scanner that operates flawlessly in extreme fog and torrential rain.
False alarms are the exception as the software was derived from DRAs proven optical missile detection and aircraft anti-collision avoidance algorithms.
