K2 Orion
Tracking of up to fifty possible treats are automatically identified and classified within 120ms or less. The user is provided with both an audible and visual alert to. The classification algorithms utilize data from the thermal imager(s) and/or laser identifying the properties of the intruder such as a human, boat or vehicle with an optional to filter to ignore animals if practical.
Multiple thermal imagers can be configured along rivers, boarders and as the object passes from one sector to another the K2 system never looses track of the object; even when the possible threat goes behind another object the system waits for it to move again.
GPS data and sector location is also displayed providing for a rapid response to the threat.
The software runs on both a Windows XP™ system for base operations or a PocketPC for field applications.
Standard systems have battery backup and with optional solar cells power is never a problem.
The K2 system ranges from wired configuration to remote satellite configurations that are fully operable anywhere in the world.
Deployment of the remote system is a easy as taking a briefcase to a location and setting it up within a matter of minutes.
